Nancy Tze - Trauma Program manager

Nancy Tze is the Trauma Program Manager at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), a level 1 trauma centre serving the downtown core of Montreal. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McGill University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Concordia University. She has been an active clinician, administrator, and educator for over 20 years, with primary interests in critical care, trauma care, emergency care, disaster planning, and injury prevention. She has consulted for the non-profit organization, Health Professionals for Global Survival, working in Cambodia. Nancy’s expertise encompasses the areas of trauma system development, trauma center development/accreditation and trauma performance improvement.

She has also developed a fervent interest in training and development; training providers and instructors for Basic Life Support (BLS) for over 10 years, training Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) providers for over 5 years and being involved in disseminating the Rural trauma Training Course (RTTDC) to Quebec’s Northern Territories. She has been active in several professional organizations, including the Trauma Association of Canada (TAC), the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), the Association des infirmières et infirmiers d'urgence du Québec (AIIUQ), and the Quebec Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSFQ).
