Alexandre Gosselin-Tardif - Resident

Alexandre is a General Surgery resident at McGill University, where he has also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science, as well as his Doctorate in Medicine. He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Health Policy, Planning and Financing at the London School of Economics, under the supervision of Dr. Dan Deckelbaum.

He has worked with the Centre for Global Surgery throughout his medical training, helping to establish McGill University’s annual Global Surgery Conference and developing program evaluation tools in low and middle-income countries. More recently, he has been involved in editing the organisation’s Trauma Team Training course and in collaborating with partners in Ukraine to develop the country’s trauma registry systems. His future interests include conducting economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses of surgical programs and interventions.
