Call for abstracts 2018 – NOW OPEN

Abstract submission

The 6th Annual Global Surgery Conference will be held on Saturday April 29th, 2017 at the Montreal General Hospital in Montreal, Quebec. We are inviting students and professionals from healthcare fields to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the Conference. Projects relevant to the discussion on surgical training or research partnerships, capacity building, and interdisciplinary work in the field of global surgery are welcome.

Guidelines for abstract submission

The Global Surgery Conference (GSC) Committee will conduct a blind review of all submitted abstracts. Abstracts may be submitted in either English or French and should be limited to 250 words. For questions, please contact us by email (conference@cglobalsurgery.com).

Abstracts must be submitted no later than April 1st, 2017 at 11:59 (EDT) to conference@cglobalsurgery.com. The GSC Committee will notify all authors of the results by April 8th 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: Presenters whose abstracts are accepted will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation, conference registration fee and other expenses related to their presentation. All presenters are required to register for the conference by April 27th, 2017.
